22 & 23 May 2027

Paddock to Plate

Proudly Sponsored By

The Paddock to Plate event is a popular feature of the Litchfield Rural Show, and proudly showcases the incredible depth and diversity of the rural area’s agricultural, horticultural, organic farming, native plant and bush tucker industries. This vibrant event highlights our region’s rich food heritage, including locally produced meat, poultry, and fish — fresh from the farm and water to the kitchen.

A delicious assortment of locally grown, made, or produced products will be used in engaging live cooking demonstrations led by entertaining chefs, food experts, and local businesses. These sessions aim to inspire audiences with new ways to prepare and enjoy the abundance of the Territory.

Demonstrations run throughout the two days of the Show and will feature tastings, product presentations, and interactive information sessions on growing, sourcing, preparing, and using local produce. Visitors will have the opportunity to connect with producers, learn more about sustainable food practices, and discover the stories behind the food on their plate.

This is a must-visit for food lovers, families, and anyone interested in supporting local industries and celebrating the flavours of our region.
